How Our Doctoral Programs Are Delivered
Roosevelt International University offers doctoral programs (PhD, DBA, and professional doctorates) designed for working professionals and academics. Our delivery model combines flexibility with academic rigour, ensuring you can earn your doctorate without putting your career or life on hold.
01 Program Delivery Modes
We offer three flexible delivery modes for all doctoral programs:
- 100% Online – Study from anywhere, anytime. Asynchronous coursework with optional live sessions.
- Blended (Hybrid) – Combine online modules with intensive weekend residencies (optional).
- On-Campus (Limited) – For those who prefer face-to-face interaction at our partner locations.
All modes follow the same curriculum, assessment standards, and dissertation requirements. You can switch between modes with prior approval.
02 Online Learning Environment
Our state‑of‑the‑art Learning Management System (LMS) gives you 24/7 access to:
- Video lectures and interactive course materials
- Discussion forums with peers and faculty
- Live webinars and virtual office hours
- Digital submission of assignments and dissertation chapters
- Real‑time progress tracking and feedback
The platform is mobile‑friendly and works on all major devices. Technical support is available round‑the‑clock.
03 Doctoral Faculty Support
You will be guided by experienced doctoral faculty – active researchers and industry leaders. Each student is assigned:

Doctoral programs at RIU are designed to be completed in 3 to 5 years (full‑time) or 4 to 6 years (part‑time). Key features:
- Year‑round enrollment (three intakes: Fall, Spring, Summer)
- Self‑paced coursework – finish early or take a leave of absence
- No mandatory on‑campus residency (optional residencies available)
- Maximum time limit: 7 years from initial enrollment
We understand that life happens – extensions are possible under special circumstances.

Your doctorate is globally recognised and can be verified by employers and other institutions through our online verification portal.
